Open to remote roles, work from anywhere·Nearly two decades in software
What I do
I've spent my career moving between layers of the stack that most people
treat as separate disciplines — BIOS-level printer firmware in C, console and
GPU-hybrid silicon validation, Rails product work, React front ends, and now
serverless AWS platforms. The through-line isn't a language. It's being
the person who can pick up an unfamiliar system, work out how it actually
behaves, and ship a change to it safely.
I'm not just a reliability engineer who codes. I build products,
modernise platforms, and own them in production — and that production
judgement is what transfers into AI-enabled software, where the
hard part is rarely the model.
What I'm looking for now is harder problems. I'm most interested in
AI-native and AI-adjacent engineering: young, genuinely difficult, and not
yet settled into best practices. I'm looking for fully remote,
work-from-anywhere roles, with Melbourne or Brisbane as home base.
